Just Maui'd

It's official
We're MARRIED!
WOOO!

I don't really know where to start since we've done sooo much! I guess I can just start off with our honeymoon to HAWAII! :) (eek!!)

The morning after our wedding, both of us woke up sick. Travis got better, but I was sick all day. I was more than happy to get off the plane, for the final time, in Maui. The rest of the week went by so quickly. We spent our days hiking, swimming, relaxing, tanning, boogie boarding, shopping, and most of all laughing. We even bought a tiki that was hand carved just for us! The man who made it is in the business with his father. We really enjoyed talking with them while, Mani, carved our tiki.

We spent two days at Haleakala National Park. We drove to the crater which is at 10,000 ft. Then we hiked down into the crater. It was awesome. We didn't know that there is a campsite down there, inside the crater. Now we know for next time :)

The next day, we went up past Hana to the other side of Haleakala National Park. We hiked up to these amazing falls and had a picnic!

We couldn't get the whole waterfall in the picture...we estimated it was about 400 ft tall!

On our hike up to the falls we went through a bamboo forest!

Through the bamboo forest, the trail was a boardwalk which was a nice touch :)
After we hiked down from the falls, we went to another waterfall and went swimming in its pools.

We also spent 2 days at Wailea relaxing on the beach and boogie boarding. The first day there, I had an embarrassing moment rated 10 out of 10. Here it is...

Yea...I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Just a reminder...we were at the GRAND WAILEA...aka super ritzy, bring your nanny, type of place. ugh. I'm sure those nannies were shielding the children's eyes.
Even though it was SUPER embarrassing, it made for a good laugh and it makes for everlasting memories haha.

On our second to last day, we went out on a boat to go snorkeling. I don't have any digital pictures because my camera ate it while swimming in the waterfall. It's supposed to be waterproof...but apparently it wasn't. Anyway, we saw SO many turtles! Travis and I had such a good time! We got some great pictures of it, I will have to put them on a CD so you all can see them :) We also got some history on the island and went in a cave! eek! It's scary being in a cave with so many jagged edges when in a rubber boat. The driver was so crazy! I thought I was going to fall off and get lost in the ocean. I was hanging on for dear life.

One more thing...while at the beach in front of our condo, we locked ourselves out. We left our phones in the room also. So what did we do? Travis climbed through the window. Not the brightest thing we've ever done...but that's how memories are made!

We love being married to each other. We look forward to all the adventures to come :) Thank you for all your love and support! It carries us through everyday.

We love you always,
Lindsay & Travis
